Crafty Strengthens Leadership Team to Corner the Workplace Food & Beverage Market

Crafty’s rapid growth prompts executive hires from Glia and Leap.

CHICAGO, IL — October 17, 2023 — Crafty, the industry's leading technology provider that allows organizations to centrally manage ordering, budgeting and inventory supply across their food and beverage programs, has strengthened its leadership team with two strategic hires as the company continues its year of rapid growth. Jordan Christopher has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Sales and Client Success and David Duffie as Vice President of Finance. These new additions will report directly to Nate Rosenstock, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer.

The hires come on the heels of a series of organizational developments that have made the company a leading competitor in the workplace food and beverage space. Crafty has had a record-setting year, acquiring customers across new verticals and expanding into new global territories. In the last year, Crafty raised $10 million Series A led by Tribeca Venture Partners and grew its teams in Chicago, New York and The Bay Area. To date, Crafty has raised over $15 million from investors, including Greycroft, OCA Ventures, Manifold, Firebrand, Rubicon Venture Capital, 7BC Venture Capital, Gaingels, and Bluestein Ventures.

Jordan Christopher brings more than 20 years of enterprise sales and executive sales leadership experience to Crafty. As Senior Vice President of Sales and Client Success he will help scale and accelerate Crafty's global sales strategy while ensuring outstanding client service across each customer account. Most recently, Jordan has served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Glia–an integrated digital customer service platform transforming how businesses interact with their customers– where he grew sales by 7,800%, laying the foundation for the company to achieve unicorn status. Prior to that, Jordan was Vice President of Sales at Sisense Inc., where he helped the company add more than 1,000 customers and grew annual software revenue by more than $50M in annual software sales in less than 4 years. Jordan will sit in Crafty’s New York City office.

As Vice President of Finance, David Duffie will lead Crafty’s enterprising finance team while driving the company toward profit maximization. Before Crafty, David brought his accounting brainpower to Leap, the company building the world's largest network of branded retail stores – powered by data, where he built the company's first full set of integrated financial systems, played an integral role in various funding stages, and enhanced financial oversight. He also held various leadership roles at Groupon, where he managed month-end close for various teams and was fundamental in the setup and growth for Groupon Goods domestic and international accounting operations, amongst other responsibilities.  Additional roles include Audit in Charge at Deloitte where his focus was in the manufacturing arena for both public and private companies. David will work out of Crafty’s Chicago headquarters.
