    On August 6th, we opened the (virtual) doors to our second quarterly Crafty Platform Showcase, giving clients an exclusive look at the newest features, upcoming innovations, and tips for getting the most out of their Crafty-powered pantry.

    This quarter, we introduced our newest integration with Staples, bringing over 1,000+ office essentials into the Crafty Platform.

    Now, your workplace teams can:

    • Shop Staples office supplies such as paper, batteries, and beyond 
    • Ship these essentials to any satellite office across the US
    • Edit and add Staples products to future orders
    • Consolidate pantry invoices for a clear view of your budget
    • Get products delivered straight to your door between Crafty’s scheduled visits

    Here’s how it works:

    • Browse and order Staples essentials anytime through the Crafty Marketplace
    • Add products to one-time orders or set them to auto-reorder from your inventory center
    • Receive deliveries directly at your office or timed with your Crafty team’s scheduled visits
    • Restock items yourself at any time, or have them stocked for you if your Crafty team is on-site daily
    • Consolidate invoices to include Staples products on your regular Crafty bill for easy budgeting

    New Features That Give Workplace Team's More Control

    Our product team heard our client's feedback loud and clear: they wanted more control over their pantry, from the products they stock to who can manage them. This quarter’s updates deliver just that.

    Inside the Crafty Platform, you can:

    • Add new users instantly: Perfect for sharing responsibilities during PTO or adding finance to your reporting flow.
    • Pause or remove products with a single click: Make instant adjustments to avoid over-ordering items your team isn’t consuming.
    • Add trending products on demand: Keep your pantry fresh with seasonal favorites or new healthy office snacks.
    • Set priority products: Flag up to 10% of your product list as must-haves. Crafty will do our best to ensure that your priority product or something similar is always on the shelves.
    • Assign product replacements: In select markets, you can assign product replacements to ensure your preferred swaps are happening across locations to keep morale high.

    AI is transforming industries, and workplace food service is no exception. We gave attendees a sneak peek at our early AI pantry assistant, built to answer product, nutrition, and equipment questions directly in the Crafty Platform.

    Imagine asking: “What are the nutrition facts for RX Bars?” and getting an instant, accurate answer, without leaving your dashboard.

    This is just the beginning. We’re exploring ways AI can help with order recommendations, data analysis, and day-to-day pantry management.
